The Heart of Our Kitchen
Thai Express began with a simple dream. Our parents immigrated from Thailand in the 1980's, hoping to build a better life and create something meaningful for their family. In 2011, that dream became Thai Express—a small, family-run restaurant rooted in tradition, hard work, and heart.
Over the years, we’ve grown alongside Bowling Green. From our spot along the bypass and next to WKU, we’ve had the privilege of serving students, faculty, and local families who have become part of our extended community. Many of you have been with us from the very beginning, and that support has shaped who we are today.
When the Bowling Green tornado hit, it was that same community that lifted us up and helped us move forward. It’s a moment we’ll never forget and a reminder of how deeply connected we are to this city.
Today, Thai Express remains a true mom-and-pop restaurant, now run by the next generation. We carry forward our family’s story with gratitude—continuing to serve authentic Thai food, made with care, to the community that has supported us every step of the way.
